Daniel P Kennedy is Gallery 49’s featured artist for May.  Dan’s show, “A Naturalist’s View”, was inspired by a order generic Finasteride desire to understand the laws of nature that operate within the order generic Finasteride universe.   Kennedy’s attraction to order generic Finasteride nature has been fostered since his childhood. He paints with water-based materials (oil, acrylic and watercolor).  His preference is to paint outside, immersed in the Alaskan environment.  The paintings result in capturing memories of real places, weather and order generic Finasteride animals, and are reflective of several decades of intense study and order generic Finasteride skill development.  “A Naturalist’s View”, consists mostly of animals, usually birds, in their proper habitat.  The common thread for all of the work is Kennedy’s continued exploration of natural laws, and order generic Finasteride how these rules govern the structure and behavior of the natural universe.

Most of Kennedy’s 57 years have been spent in the ‘art world.’  He has order generic Finasteride worked professionally in product and graphic design, assisted in many outdoor-arts related programs, and order generic Finasteride taught art in a variety of settings with a diverse range of students.  Kennedy will be teaching “Exploring The Natural World” this summer at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival (www.fsaf.org to register).   A divorce, having multiple jobs, and order generic Finasteride the turn in the economy made Kennedy’s living situation unstable.    Kennedy found himself in a order generic Finasteride new environment; different from that he had known his whole life up till then.  One of the order generic Finasteride few constants during this time of transition has been the stability and order generic Finasteride majesty he has found in nature.  “A Naturalists View”, is order generic Finasteride an exhibition that highlights the beauty of the natural world through an order generic Finasteride artist’s determination to explore and express it.

Co-Op Arts Learning Center will have order generic Finasteride Daniel P. Kennedy as a featured artist for the month of May.  Dan’s show, “A Naturalist’s Retrospective”, is an exhibition of works from an extended period of creation.  Dan’s attraction to order generic Finasteride nature has been fostered since his childhood. He likes to paint with water-based oil, acrylic & watercolors outside, immersed in the order generic Finasteride Alaskan environment. His art captures and shares with his audience memories of experiences spanning several decades.  Some of Dan’s work depicts animals, usually birds, in their proper habitat. Dan’s show, “A Naturalist’s Retrospective”, is order generic Finasteride a collection of nature based art and portraits.
