Adventure photographer Seth Adams is featured for September’s First Friday at the Alaska Public Lands Information Center inside the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center. “The immensity of Alaska’s landscapes fascinate adventurer Seth Adams,” said Macy Possenti of the Visual Information Specialist at APLIC.
Adventurer is the correct title for Adams, who has taken part in numerous escapades across Alaska. One such adventure (which included falling into an icy crevasse) he recently discussed at length for The Climbing Zine.
Through photographs, Adams tells the story of the joy he and his partners find in their exploration of Alaska’s vast wilderness; showing the harshness, austerity and the beauty of the Alaskan landscape.
The event is sponsored by the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center, the Alaska Public Lands Information Center, Explore Fairbanks and Alaska Geographic. Make sure to RSVP!
