Cushman Street is receiving new traffic signals from 1st-4th Ave. The installation process is expected to take one-day per intersection. Two days may be necessary, according to Rebekah Matar, traffic coordinator for Exclusive Paving. Installing the new signals will begin Thursday at 4th Avenue and proceed north, ending on 1st Avenue.
Temporary road closures will be necessary to complete the signal upgrades. There will be no work on the signals or intersections during the weekend. The new signals are expected to be installed by next week.
