IGP new sign

After standing vacant (with the exception of Northward Watch Repair) for more than a year, the former Larson’s Fine Jewelers building has a new occupant: Interior Graphics & Printing! According to owner Michelle Maynor, IGP is remodeling the building’s interior and will complete the move this fall.

Kenneth Murray Insurance, at 330 Barnette Street, recently updated the façade and curtain wall on the second floor of their west-facing wall. The work will improve the buildings r value, increasing its resistance to heat loss and improving the building’s insulation. Work was completed in a matter of days at the end of August.

Huntington Consulting, a locally-based statewide communications and community relations firm, is re-branding to Uqaqti Consulting (pronounced u-kuk-ti) this fall. In Inupiaq, Uqaqti means “One Who Speaks.” The firm is located in downtown Fairbanks at 551 2nd Avenue, Suite 225.
