Artist Talk: Elements Artist Group

Join the Elements Artist Group, six visual artists based in Alaska, for their artist talk in the Bear Gallery! The artists will be discussing the creation of their exhibit DENALI: Artists Respond to Composers in the Wilderness on view in the Bear Gallery through the month of July. The exhibit was developed in response to original chamber music inspired by nine composers’ experiences in Denali National Park. During their talk, the artists will detail their work and experiences creating their art in a variety of media including fiber art, ceramic tiles, painting, poetry, and artist books, each one a personal response to a musical composition.
