Celebrate Refuge Week: Archery Night

October 11, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

FREE

From Oct. 9-15, refuges throughout the nation are hosting events to celebrate Refuge Week. Arctic, Kanuti, and Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuges invite the public to Archery Night on Tuesday, October 11. This FREE event will be held outdoors at the Morris Thompson Center from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Youth ages 9+ are invited to learn about the sport of archery and will have the opportunity to work closely with trained staff on the proper use of equipment. There will be various educational activities and crafts inside the main lobby area for younger youth. In case of inclement weather, archery will be moved indoors in the auditorium. The Friends of Alaska Refuges will provide complimentary hot dogs and beverages while supplies last. We hope to see you there!
