Destination: Deadhorse at Morris Thompson Center

Deadhorse continues through the dark months. There is more action there in winter than the more balmy times of the year, because trucks and oil rigs can move on ice roads without damaging the fragile tundra. Photographer LJ Evans flew up last December to capture parts of Deadhorse that very few tourists see.
