Stop by Fairbanks Arts’ Wandering Bear Gallery at 3501 Lathrop Street, Unit B, for a night of
literary arts! With monthly events on the first Saturday of every month, the Fairbanks Arts Literary Reading Series is the oldest of its kind in Alaska and features writers from all over the state. On March 6, Fairbanks-based writer Leah Aronow-Brown will share her work!
Originally from Boston, Leah has been in Alaska since 1976. She has a BA in Psychology and Metaphysics from Harvard University and an MFA in Creative Writing from University of Alaska Fairbanks. Leah writes poetry, nonfiction memoir, and fiction. She is currently foolishly attempting to finish seven book manuscripts. She has won first place in the Alaska State Poetry Contest and third place in the Helen Keller Memoir Writing Competition.
