First Friday Artist Reception: Mary Bee Kaufman

Mary Bee Kaufman is a visual artist who has been painting the landscape and birds of Alaska for over 30 years. Her art has been exhibited in the Anchorage and Pratt Museums, as well as various galleries throughout the state. Marybee and her husband live off grid, near Denali National Park where lakes and boreal forest create a habitat rich with bird life. “To sit quietly in the presence of birds against the glorious backdrop of the Alaskan landscape is inspiration for a lifetime.”
