Laurel Devaney has been making art with stained glass and copper since 1991. Recently, she started dabbling in fusing glass. Her subjects are Alaska’s birds and landscapes

Wool fabric pulled through a durable backing has been used for hundreds of years to make floor coverings for warmth and beauty. Artist Kathryn King Lamal uses the traditional hooking technique to “paint” images inspired by the brilliant color and contrast found in Alaska.

“I seek to create vibrant images that will captivate, intrigue and amuse the observer. I see my art as impressionistic, whimsical, cartoonish, and lushly colorful.”
