Fresh Nuggest First Friday

Featured artist Jamie Smith, creator of the Alaskan cartoon feature “Nuggets” which has been appearing weekly in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner since 1988, will be showcasing a sampling of recent panels and pieces while also doing on-site drawing demonstrations.
The Alaska Center for Resource Families will also be displaying the Heart Gallery of Alaska which showcases approximately 100 children waiting for adoption in the state of Alaska. Through the Heart Gallery of Alaska, a loving family can inquire and learn more about children awaiting adoption and the children featured on the gallery can express to their community what they are looking for in a forever family.
