Keep Close is about the objects and thoughts that we choose to treasure and how these belongings leave impressions on our lives. While there is safety in our daily disguises, it is critical to consider the value of vulnerability and the consequences of holding some things too closely.
Anvil works in mixed media and ceramics, composing masks and animal sculpture from many parts, incorporating a high level of detail and layering that often requires a second, closer look.
