Join FEDC, the Downtown Assocation of Fairbanks, FNSB, and the Chamber of Commerce for renowned ‘Think Local’ advocate and entrepreneur Kimber Lanning’s workshop “Leveraging Your Localness” — a two hour workshop for small business owners. Kimber has spoken to our Fairbanks business owners and comes armed with an understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges facing them.
Topics will include:
About Us: Are you really telling your story? What makes you passionate and why it matters
Collaboration for diverse businesses and how to pool precious marketing dollars
Talking about economic leakage to residents/consumers and being stronger together
How to leverage events to drive new customers
Thinking regionally- what could regional mean to you and your business
How to more effectively compete with the ‘big guys’
Speaker Kimber Lanning will inform and inspire small business owners to think differently about how they’re positioned in the marketplace, and most importantly, will help them understand that the future depends on small businesses being more competitive to meet consumer demand and retain hometown jobs.
The event will take place on Tuesday, November 15 at 2:00 at Raven Landing. Registration is $20 before November 1st (and goes up to $25 after that date) and includes entry in our door prize drawing. You can pay by calling FEDC (452-2185) and we can take your credit card information, stop by the office with payment, or send a check to 330 Wendell Ave, Suite e, 99701 and in the memo line write “Kimber”.
Any questions, email Samantha at email@example.com or call 452-2185.
We hope to see you there!
