This special event matches civilian hosts with military attendees for an evening of appreciation and recognition of our service men and women stationed in Interior Alaska. Tickets are $275 which includes dinner for two civilian hosts and two military members. Your military pair could either be a military person and their spouse, or two single military members. The Chamber will send you the names of the military couple you’ve been matched with in the days leading up to the event.
This marks the 49th year that our community will host the event, which has grown from small dinner-in-the-home parties to an event so large, we max out the biggest house in Fairbanks, The Carlson Center, with over 600 military and civilian attendees.
Over the course of the evening, attendees will meet and mingle at the pre-dinner reception, then be seated for dinner and the program which includes recognition of military members who have exhibited distinguished service to our country, volunteer-of-the-year recipients from each of the installations, and a member of our community who best promotes and supports military/community relations over the years, known as the Jim Messer Award.
This event is made possible by people like you that host our military attendees, as well as generous support of Boeing, Denali State Bank, Doyon Utilities, MAC Federal Credit Union, Alaska Universal Productions, North Haven, Corvias, Usibelli Coal Mine, and Lockheed Martin.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.fairbankschamber.org. Please call the Fairbanks Chamber office at 907-452-1105 with any questions you may have and ask for Christina or Marisa.
