Our featured artists this month are Molly Manaugh and Ansel Siegenthaler.
Molly Manaugh, of A Tartan Weaver, has been a full time weaver since 1999. She specializes in accessories for the home and wardrobe, and weaves samples of newly designed tartans. Tartans, or plaids, are the traditional Scottish national dress and can be worn or used by anyone who likes the plaid design. Molly works with wool, cotton, cotton/linen blends, and cellulose based fibers (bamboo, soy silk, and Tencel).
Ansel Siegenthaler of Storm’s End Photography, has always enjoyed the mountain wilderness and welcomed planned and unplanned adventures. He enjoys the challenge of translating a story he sees into a frame that can tell the story on its own. “At Home in the Wild”, takes a journey into adventures near and far highlighting scenic impressions and adventures in the natural world by photograph.
