Please Donate to the New ESP. As you may remember, the “old” ESP ended in April of 2025 and the City hired a new contractor a few months later. Per consultation with the City, we didn’t ask you for support because, for a time, there was no program in the field and when there was one, we wanted to see if their methods would work. Well, that ‘probationary’ period is over. The City is happy with the new contractor’s paradigm. Rather than a security-focused ESP, the new program addresses root causes and operates via low-barrier, case-managed mobile outreach to hundreds of people a month, connecting clients to medical services, housing pathways, and durable medical equipment all across Fairbanks. So it’s time for us to ask again: Please support the Emergency Service Patrol with a donation online or by using a form.
