Introducing $25,000 in Restaurant and Rental Incentives Downtown. Inspired by the Storefront Improvement Program (SIP) last year, we tried a ‘first months rent’ incentive and in a ninety-day period helped to induce four new rental contracts for 12-months or longer. That’s two office sublets in Courthouse Square for Heaven Sent Homes and Wise Solutions LLC, retailer Candid Objects on ground floor at 4th/Cushman and a new resident upstairs in that building. Four new tenants for $3,200, made possible by our generous sponsors and members. So alongside the city’s SIP this year, we introduce the 2026 Restaurant and Rental Incentives made possible once again by the Downtown Association’s donors and sponsors.
The City is very active in the economic development space at present, continuing their Storefront Improvement Program. “Requesting Information” for the Log Cabin at 550 1st Avenue (Click for the RFI) and at the Polaris Site Redevelopment (Click for the RFI.
