With the end of summer, do you find yourself focusing more on personal projects come the fall? Do you need to clean up or stock up for those fall and winter projects? If so, the Fairbanks Arts Association can help this Sunday, August 27.
Whether you’re an artist, knitter, quilter, musician, or any other kind of crafter then be sure to attend the 2nd Annual Community Arts & Crafts Rummage Sale! The sale is the perfect place to buy or sell all manner of arts and crafts supplies, tools, materials and books.
Why do an event like this? “Part of the reason is that it’s’ getting close to fall and people will starting spending more time indoors,” said Beth Grassi, communications and event coordinator at Fairbanks Arts. “This is when people start new projects or finally get around to finishing old ones,” she said.
To sell your own items, please register at fairbanksarts.org. Booth space is $30. The booth fee includes three 2′ x 6′ tables.
“This is a great chance to get ready for the new crafting season,” Fairbanks Arts will feature their own table while also selling baked goods to raise money for the organization.
For more information, contact Fairbanks Arts at info@fairbanksarts.org or at 456-6485 ext. 225. Interested parties can also RSVP on Facebook.
