The Fairbanks Children’s Museum has a busy finish to the month of August with a pair of exciting and fun events. These events feature creation and rock climbing.
August 20: Lowe’s will be visiting the museum with kits for parents and kids to create, assemble, construct and build together! The event runs from 2-4pm and is free with admission to the museum.
August 27: The Fairbanks Children’s Museum is partnering with the Ascension Rock Club for a day of fun activities at the museum! The day’s activities include climbing the museum’s kid-sized rock wall to strength building exercises geared for young children.
“You can prepare yourself for an awesome day!” said Valerie Schleich, the museum’s marketing and communications manager. The event runs from 2-4pm and is free with admission to the museum.
