Gather Fairbanks is going all out on First Friday this August! All of Fairbanks is invited to a summer evening featuring both makers and brick-and-mortars, great drinks, lots of music, and wonderful company.
While exploring the space that is home to Solstice Books, Alaskan Mystic Wonders, and Little Owl Cafe you’ll get to visit local makers including: The Barren Co., Remnant Muse, Beauty Way, Bearberry Workshop, and Tehya McLeod Art.
There will also be music by GrungeBob AK, Ole Papaloosa, and Carl Addington. And yes, the bar will be open throughout the evening!
This event is from 5-8PM on August 7. Gather Fairbanks is located at 721 2nd Avenue.

Other First Friday Events Downtown
- 2 Street Gallery hosts silversmith and jewelry maker Margaret Ransdell-Green.
- Well Street Art Gallery features mixed media artist Karina Huffaker and visual artist Ethan/Kayaaní J Lauesen.
- Humble Roots Beer Project hosts printmaker Linda Wies.
- The Starter Block features live music by The Jazzy Cousins Jam, Arlene Slocum, and Orion Mittlestadt. There will be food vendors and fun activities.
- Fairbanks Children’s Museum hosts their popular Kids’ Night In drop-off event. Bring your kids beginning at 5:30PM and enjoy a night on the town!
