On Friday, February 3rd from 5-8 p.m., join us for a First Friday reception.
This month we have the honor of featuring three local artists and their one-of-a-kind creations.
Amanda Gecas of Boundary Fur Sewing, who uses her experience as a dog musher on the Yukon River & the feedback of professional explorers to inspire her designs, will feature her custom, handmade fur clothing and gear.
Laura Sample will be here with her charcoal illustrations, many of which reflect different cultures and landscapes from her travels across the globe.
George Yaska will be demonstrating the art of snowshoe making, with complete handcrafted sets for sale.
This event is sponsored by the Alaska Public Lands Information Center, the Fairbanks Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Tanana Chiefs Conference.
