Gather and Treat: Free Indoor Trick or Treating in Downtown Fairbanks! — Join downtown businesses and organizations for a free trick or treating evening at Gather. All ages welcome and there will be candy and other freebies that families are welcome to “trick or treat” for.
Vendors include the Fairbanks Children’s Museum, Lavelle’s Taphouse, The Ivy, United Way of the Tanana Valley, Beyond the Mirror, My Sticks and Stones, Solstice Bookshop, Alaskan Mystic Wonders, and more!

Not-So-Spooky Halloween at the Fairbanks Children’s Museum! — On Halloween, wear your costumes and play at a not-so-spooky museum! The museum will “dim the lights for themed activities and crafts all day” and give kids the chance to meet a cockroach, listen to Miss Susan’s spooky storytime, make slime, and join-in for a dance party! Regular admission applies. No reservation required. Programming is designed for children aged 0-8 years-old.

Trick-or-Treat at City Hall! — This Halloween creep on over to City Hall, located at 800 Cushman Street for a frightfully fun indoor Trick-or-Treat!
Collect candy from every corner and cast your vote for the best decorated department. Departments have pulled out all the stops… and competition is fierce! All are welcome; costumes are more than encouraged.

Film showing at First United Methodist Church! — Visit the First United Methodist Church for a special Halloween showing of the 1925 silent film The Phantom of the Opera with live organ music! A live musical soundtrack for the film will be provided by Dr. Paul Krejci.

Salty’s on 2nd! — Join the crew at Salty’s for a fright-tastic night of FUN! This event is for anyone 21+. Costumes are highly encouraged! There will be prizes awarded for best individual, couple, and group! The evening promises no tricks, just treats, but maybe a few SPIRITS!
