Robert is a part time art hobbyist whom enjoys painting scenic panoramas and also gets a lot of enjoyment from hanging his paintings where people are able to see and enjoy them. While painting with oils is a fairly new endeavor for Robert, he is no stranger to other art and technical graphics mediums.
Robert grew up outside of our nation’s capital city working for his father from time to time as an Architectural water color renderer. He later trained as an Architectural student at Idaho State University (ISU) for one year and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VPI) for another three plus years.Through connections with long missed friends, Robert finally found his way to Fairbanks, Alaska in late 1984.
It is in Fairbanks that Robert found his soul mate and wife of thirteen years, Lynda. Together, they have three boys, one daughter in-law, a daughter in-law to be, and four amazing grandchildren. They bought a house in North Pole, Alaska, and together they have loved, enjoyed and supported one another.
Please enjoy Roberts slant on Alaska’s exceptional beautyand feel free to be critical. If you love what you see, let Robert know. That’s the kind of support that encourages and motivates.
